Hua Hin has lots of fun activities to offer apart from spending lazy days on the beach resting and recuperating, and visiting its attractions. Shopping is always a winner, and Hua Hin’s markets are the perfect places to shop for souvenirs and the beautifully-made crafts Thai people are so famous for.  | Elephant Trekking There are 2 elephant villages around Hua Hin, one 2km from Hua Hin centre where you can see elephant shows or go trekking through the green tropical forests and the natural beauty of the thai countryside, time to sit, enjoy with nature on the back of the largest animal in the world. To get there follow the elphant signs. The other camp is 3km west of Hua Hin, on arrival you will the elephants and have a chance to buy bananas and feed the elephants, you can have a ride on there back, and trek through the jungle and near by village. |
 | Go-Karting It is located opposite Hua Hin Airport on Petchkasem Road, approximately 6km from the city centre. This professionally managed 700 meter outdoor karting circuit is available for all ages and experience levels, kids to adults, novice to pro.  | Quad Biking (ATV) There are two quad tracks around Hua Hin, one offroad biking trax is located in Khao Takiab south of Hua Hin, enjoy a 30 minute off road experience, great fun, available for the young and the old. The other track is off the main road going towards Cha-am, follow the signs from the main road. They have three tracks A-Easy, B-Medium, C-Harder. Both tracks provide helemts. |
 | Water Sports There are a number of activities you can do at the beach at Hua Hin Cha-am & Khao Takiab, including Banana Boats, Jet sking, Kite surfing, Kayaking, Parasailing and water skiing. There is no surf to speak of on the beaches but get a meter or so of swell which is ideal for bodyboarding, this should be avoided at the beach in the centre of town due to rocks. Windsurfers are often seen out to sea when there is a good breeze. |
 | Fishing A fresh water fishing lodge just a few km west of Hua Hin, it has two large very deep ponds that are home to a variety of popular freshwater fish including, Siamese carp, Pacu and some rather large Catfish. Tackle and bait are available for hire. Sea Fishing is also available through a number of tour operators organizing boat and fishing trips from Hua Hin, where you can catch and keep your fish, there are a few that do night fishing. Rods and equipment comes included with the package. |
